The holiday rush is over and we are slowing down a bit and catching up with projects.
Firstly, I want to let you know that the water feature you have installed in our backyard is outstanding and that we are very pleased with the results. NO POND SCUM HERE
Don't you just love the soothing sound of running water? Most people do... including Cindy and Dave Theiler, which prompted them to install a pond in their backyard. After rebuilding the deck and rerouting the stairs, Dave had an area in the corner that warranted something special.
Getting a flyer in the mail gave them a starting point to investigate ponds. They visited several professional pond businesses gathering ideas for their own pond. With three estimates that ranged as high as $10,000, the Theiler's selected The Pond Professional (owner Dave Jones, 770-592-2273) who completed the job in 2 days for $4,300.00. The price included the construction, pumps and filters, skimmer, fish and plants.a flying in the mail gave them a starting point to investigate ponds. Dave Jones roughed out a 3 level pond that would hold about 400 gallons of water and enable fish to survive during the winter. He added river rocks, a variety plants both in the water and on the shoreline, a small waterfall and pump to keep the water from stagnating, and filters and skimmers to keep the water clean. To enjoy the pond at night, Dave Jones added lighting in the water.
Dave Theiler does have to perform maintenance on the pond. Because he has fish, he must check the PH level weekly and adjust it with chemicals if necessary, and during the middle of summer, he also has to add water to keep the level up. Once a year, he must drain the pond and clean the algae off the rocks so the fish don't die. But Dave enjoys working around the pond so the maintenance is rather relaxing to him.
It's been a year since the pond has been installed and the Theiler's still love it. The photos above don't do this pond justice... in real life - it's fabulous! If you are thinking about installing a pond, this is one yardscape that is really a soothing and wonderful project.

I have been meaning to take the time to write for months. I want to let you know that the work you completed to build the water feature/pond and retaining wall in my backyard has by far exceeded my expectations!! From the lights at night, to the fish and plants... I still can't believe this work of art you have created is right outside by back door!! I am so pleased with the workmanship and creativity. The name of your company is perfect as you are the ultimate "Pond Professional".
Although we ran into a common problem at the beginning with a leak in the water fall, you were true to your word in providing exceptional customer service to get it corrected. Dave, I have learned so much from you since I took on this new hobby and have become a true pond enthusiast.
The pond and water feature has been running so beautifully and my backyard is a place I so look forward to every day to gravitate to for some peace and serenity. It's been several months since it was established and as it has matured over time I am enjoying it even more and more.
You both make a great team and such a pleasure to work with. Gloria, last but not least, thanks so much for the CD provided. It's been fun to share my joy with friends and family living out of town.
If the need arises that you need any recommendations or references for prospective customers, please don't hesitate to use my name. Just let those know who are contemplating on building a pond, water feature etc... don't wait any longer and go for it!!

Dave,
Just wanted to say thanks for a superb job on our pond. It looks so much better than I could have imagined. We saw the pictures of your work but pictures can not do you justice. As you know we had a Koi pond and did everything according to directions from a Koi professional, we had a nice pond and were finally able to get rid of algae. But what we had compared to what we now have was a big hole in the ground with a black liner and rocks around the edges. The fish even look happier with all the features they have to swim around and play in the waterfall. Before they actually looked bored, and I can see why.
Thanks to you we have an incredibly beautiful water garden pond that is even more beautiful at night.
